Other Dogs We Have Shown In The Past
Clavaire Glitz N’ Glamour

(Sophie) Clavaires Couture x Manacas Learn Lifes Ropes At Charbonnel (Tony)

Pixie continues to have a zest for life but also enjoys home life far more than the Show scene, so we have decided to respect that.

We will be planning to have a litter from her later in the year!

Clavaire Couture

Sophie's latest litter of puppies are all settled in their new homes. 3 of them will be making their debut in the show ring in the next couple of months, so watch this space.

She is enjoying home life and being a couch potato so we have decided to give her a break from the show scene. She will hopefully be back in a couple of years.

Clavaire Chanterelle

What a character! Tilly has done well in the shows we have entered her in. Unfortunately she had an early season and is now looking rather short of her furnishings (she's blown her coat).

Tilly had a beautiful litter of puppies to Sh Ch Charbonnel Life N Times in Feb 2011. We get regular updates from their new mums and dads and they are all doing very well!

A few snapshots of Tilly showing her true character!

Clavaire One Way Ticket

Alfie is no longer being shown, but continues to enjoy being a couch potato and companion for Jeff on his fishing and mushroom trips. I really don't think he misses the show scene one little bit!!!! He is also no longer available at Stud, but I have put some photos of typical puppies sired by him in the past!

Clavaire Checkmate

Clavaire Checkmate - Milo, Rio’s son achieved some good wins as a youngster. Sadly he did not enjoy his show career and was retired at 15 months.

Clavaire Fleur De Lys

Tinker mother of Clavaire Chanterelle (Tilly) lives up to her name, and didn’t think much of showing, she was more interested in having her tummy rubbed by the judge, consequently she was retired and now lives with Jeff’s brother’s family being very spoilt and living the life of luxury.

Clavaire Heartbreaker JW

Oliver winning Best Puppy Dog at Crufts 2005.

(Oliver was born with a perfect black heart on his back, that is how we decided on his show name).

He fulfilled all our expectations and more in his show career. Oliver was a true showman strutting his stuff around the ring. Thank you to all those judges who thought so highly of him and thank you Oliver, you were a pleasure and joy to show!

Avandora Heaven Scent to Clavaire JW

Rio & Rio with her son Clavaire Checkmate (Milo)

Rio has been a huge star, winning numerous firsts at Open and Championship show level. Her career culminating in 2 R.C.C's

Clavaire Cocker Spaniels

Rio at the age of 7 1/2 winning second prize at Crufts this year in her Veteran class, 14th March 2010 (Judge: Frank Kane). She continues to enjoy life to the full in her retirement and looks forward to her occasional visit to the show ring.

Clavaire Razamataz

Jazz (Clavaire Razamataz) daughter of Coullemelle Extravaganza, mother of Clavaire Heartbreaker, Clavaire Fleur De Lys, Clavaire Centrefold, Clavaire Couture and Clavaire One Way Ticket. Jazz was lightly shown but has produced the most amazing puppies. She plays a huge part in our family and is admired and loved by everyone she meets for her placid and friendly nature.

Coulemelle Extravaganza & Clavaire Blue Lagoon

Millie (Coulemelle Extravaganza) and Joey (Clavaire Blue Lagoon), daughter and son of Ellie. Both did incredibly well in open and champ shows, inspiring us to strive for bigger and better.

Avandora Independence at Wheelwrights

Ellie our 1st foundation bitch that started us off showing. Now at the age of 12 1/2 she's enjoying a well earned retirement. Our thanks to Debbie Sawko for letting us have this much loved member of our family.

In loving memory of Ellie who fell asleep in November 2008. “Your presence we miss, your memory we treasure. Loving you always, in our thoughts forever.”

A Dogs Prayer

If it should be I grow frail and weak
And pain should wake me from my sleep
Then you must do what must be done
For this last battle cannot be won

You will be sad - I understand
Don’t let your grief then stay your hand
For this day more than all the rest
Your love and friendship stands the test

We’ve had so many happy years
What is to come will hold no tears
You’d not want me to suffer..... so
When the time comes......please let me go

Take me when all my needs they’ll tend
But stay with me until the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see

I know in time you too will see
It is a kindness you do to me
Although my tail it’s last has waved
From pain and suffering I’ve been saved

Do not grieve that it should be you
Who must decide this thing to do
We’ve been so close - we two these years
Don’t let your heart hold any tears
