Clavaire cocker spaniels are a small hobby/kennel, which was established in 1996. We are situated in a quiet village near Huntingdon race course in Cambridgeshire.

We customarily have one or two planned litters a year, of blue roan, blue roan & tan, orange roan, chocolate roan, chocolate roan & tan puppies from quality health tested blood lines compatible with our cockers of good type and superb temperament.

We only breed from suitably aged, healthy bitches and would never knowingly breed from hereditary defective lines.

As we are both professional people we do not rely on puppy sales as an income, we breed to provide ourselves with our next potential show dog. The remainder of our puppies go to well scrutinised pet homes, as with any reputable breeder, which helps pay for the upkeep of our remaining dogs (vaccinations, health insurance genetic testing etc).

Our puppies are sold with the proviso that should any of their owners circumstances change we should be given the opportunity to take back or re-home any of our progeny however old, at any time.

As from April 2007, all our puppies are undocked to comply with current legislation, however under our vets advice they still have their dew claws removed

We have one health tested dog available for occasional stud work to approved bitches only.

More often than not we run two puppies on, that we consider are worthy of being shown because of this we sometimes have an older puppy available to be re-homed once we have decided which one we would like to show. They are always well socialised, vaccinated, house and lead trained.
